I will be moving adiirc.com and related sites to a new server in the next few days.
AdiIRC updates, adiirc.com and dev.adiirc.com might not function during this time.
Sorry for any inconveniences.

Yesterdays beta build (110311-1) broke the self update mechanism.
If you have installed it and can't update to a new beta, you have to manually go to http://adiirc.com/download.php and get it.
Overwrite the old AdiIRC.exe and it should work again. (Remember to close AdiIRC first)
Sorry about that!

Another hotfix release, i introduced a bug in 1.8.5 that made a huge whitespace and jumping messages and many found it annoying, this is now fixed.
Also the latest beta have had a huge code rewrite separating core from the gui, if you want to test it out, go to Options -> General and enable periodically check for beta versions.
Only do this if you can deal with some crashes and bugs.
I opened http://dev.adiirc.com for anonymous browsing, feel free to report any bug/issue you encounter in the beta's.

I normally wouldnt do a release so soon, but there was a crash when trying to change colors in Options, i consider that to make the client half useable, so i made a hotfix.
Sorry about that!
Also includes a few other fixes.
Fixed choosing color in options caushed a crash
Fixed sometimes clicking a nick in channel with status prefix didnt work
Fixed changing nick sometimes caused a crash
Ps. If you want to get updates more frequently, you can go to Options -> General and mark "Periodically check for new beta versions" i usually make one a day, but at your own risk! :)

1.8.5 is out and should be the most bugfree(tm) release yet!
See whats changed.
Thanks to all beta testers and bug reporters, also please continue to report any issues to http://dev.adiirc.com!
Now its time to think about the AdiIRC future.
If you want AdiIRC to be open source, knows c# and are willing to help me clean up the source, please write me or find me on irc.nordicirc.com/#adiirc for a chat.
With any luck, next version will be fully open source and better than ever.
I also have a very very very alpha version rewritten with GTK#/mono for OS X and linux.
It might see the light some day :)
Ps. you can also donate :D
