After 6 months, its finally out, lots of improvments.
Some includes:
iTunes now playing support
Transparent channels/background images
Channel text search panel
Complete away system
Better BNC support
New update system
New plugin download system
And lots of fixes and new features, check the changelog.
Thanks to CC,paranoid,nelsmar, and all the great people at www.winextra.com for testing, bug reports, feature ideas and other suggestions.
You may need to download this file and put it in your AdiIRC folder for slaps to work (if you are using 1.5).
Begun, the work on 1.7 has (Yoda style) :)
1.6 RC2 out

Yeah it needed an RC2, there was a couple of showstopper bugs, mostly to do with BNC's and now playing plugins, should all be fixed now.
If all goes well, 1.6 will be out in a couple of days, and the work on 1.7 will start :D

Happy new year everybody.
May 2007 be just as good (or better) than 2006.
Hopefully both 1.6 and 1.7 will see the light in 2007.

1.6 RC1

I released 1.6 RC1 last night.
If there is no errors, this will be 1.6, so please download and report any bugs you might encounter.
1.6 uses a new installer from Nullsoft, so you may need to uninstall the old AdiIRC if you have used the old installer.

AdiIRC in a computer magazine

Few days ago I was contacted by http://www.computerbild.it/, asking if they could include AdiIRC on a software cd/dvd bundled with their IT magazine.
I said sure go ahead, so if you are italien, rush out and buy the next magazine by computerbild :D (If anybody could buy and send me a copy of this magazine with the dvd, I would gladly pay for it + shipping, send me an mail if you can)
Some users have mentioned AdiIRC is also included in a russian magazine http://www.igromania.ru/.
