Daily/Weekly Build
September 20th, 2006
Due to still having little time for AdiIRC at the moment, I have put up a link to the daily/weekly beta builds on the download page.
To update to a beta, replace the old AdiIRC.exe in c:\program files\adiirc with the new AdiIRC.exe, and you should be all set.
Notice, the beta's is buggy, run them at your own risk. :)

Just to keep everybody notified, I am working on 1.6, lots of new stuff is allready done, and lots more is scheduled.
Due to other projects, its gonna take a few weeks or so, before I throw a public beta up, and when I feel that is good enough, I am gonna release 1.6 Stable.
If you are interested in beta testing non-public beta's, feel free to contact me, either write a comment, or write me a mail.

1.5 stable released
June 21th, 2006
Finally a stable release :D
Should be mostly bugfree.
Highlights of this release is lots and lots of bugfixes and improvments, some of the more noticeable ones, are all the new fancy icons in the toolbar and in the channel/server/query windows.
Also a new icon for the main program has been added, you can see it here.
Other features is support for showing "Now playing" for Windows Media Player and QCDPlayer. Also I have written a new winamp parser, so there is lots of new variables for now playing output.
Check the changelog for more information.
Thanks to everybody who has contributed in some way or another :-)
Enjoy and remember to report bugs if you encounter any.

First, thanks to everybody downloading AdiIRC, i don't have a real number of downloads, since many sites mirrors the setup file, but around 100 downloads a day at the moment, awesome :D
I wanted to share some information about the next release, which is going to be 1.5 Stable, no more beta :D
For this next version, I have a really good graphical friend who helps me create some nice icons, images and helps me rearrange and make the userinterface more friendly.
However, these things takes time, and when I am done making all the changes and tweaks, I need some heavy IRC users hammering the client and looking for last minute bugs etc. If you are interested in beta testing, please post an comment or write me an email and I will get back to you.
My screenshots catalog is mostly shots from my own setup, if you have a nice custom setup, please send me some screenshots I could include on the site, so others can get a feeling of what AdiIRC can look like :)
Last note, if you (or a friend) encounter a bug, or your pet feature from other IRC clients is missing, please sign up and tell me about it on the forum, I can't make AdiIRC better if you dont tell me whats missing, thanks.
